TREAT COLLECTION BEAUTY LOFT

Far from a passing trend, clean beauty is a real movement today, heralded by celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Miranda Kerr. In Berlin it has found its Mecca in Treat Collection Beauty Loft, a new walk-in Spa/beauty boutique that has quickly become “the” beauty address for the Berliner chic set. Located in the boho-chic area of Prenzlauer Berg, the light-filled space is the brainchild of Daniela Mellis, the founder of the Treat Collection line of nail polishes and lip shades mixing glam with pure ingredients (www.treatcollection.com). In her new stylish loft, whose mission is to provide “beauty as an individual experience”, on offer luxurious natural and organic cosmetics produced by Daniela herself: the Modern Natural Skincare range, packed with botanical “superfoods”, cares for the face, while the Night Delight Organics line aims to pamper and relax the body. On the shelves also niche brands founded by women, such as Merme Berlin by Australian former model Claire Ralston, whose products contain a single organic oil. Treatments include sumptuous manicures & pedicures executed in the cosy living room decorated with objects of design: one sits on leather Butterfly chairs resting on opulent Rug Star carpets, under the soft light of George Nelson Bubble lamps, while therapists scrub wrap and massage the extremities (Ultra Pampering Manicure, 60 minutes, 55 euro). Customized facials body scrubs and massages are executed in the sleek first floor rooms. The most coveted? The Ultimate Glow Facial (90 min, euro 100) an indulgent face ritual featuring a 30 minute face massage that will leave you glowing like after a walk in the woods. While the Night Delight Signature Evening Relax Ritual (90 min, 120 euro) including a soak in a bathtub filled with soothing oils, helps you unwind after a stressful day.
