Oklahoma-born and Dubai-based Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty (42.1 million followers on Instagram) is one of the most powerful beauty influencers on the planet. Now, after conquering the makeup world, the self-made beauty mogul has channelled her considerable expertise into skincare. With Wishful, her skincare line “for make-up lovers” launched last February (in an Insta-video where she appears remarkably fresh-faced) with just one product, the Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub. “It’s a three-in-one formula combining papaya and pineapple enzymes, fruit acids and physical exfoliation to reveal glowing skin” says Huda “ who has battled with acne and uneven skin tone. “Plus, it’s gentle, making it great for all skin types.” Made in Korea with the latest formulating technology and quality, raw ingredients, the milky scrub glides on the skin: massage it with circular movements, leave it on for a minute or two, rinse, and your skin will feel bright and energized. The effect, promises Huda, who credits the exfoliator for transforming her skin, is cumulative: use the product for 10 days and you will rewarded with a seriously dewy complexion. “ It re-texturises the skin, helps with acne scars, reduces the pores and makes the skin smooth and soft” says Huda, who believes that a good complexion gives one confidence, without wearing makeup; and is already working on new result-focused essential products, aimed to refine and even out the texture of the skin, to be released through 2020.
