When Brown left her company 4 years ago to pursue a career as a health coach, it seemed like the end of an era. Now the makeup maestro is back with Jones Road, an essential makeup line that embodies our times with “clean, cool, multi-tasking products that can be used to nail any look” but especially the “no-make-up makeup” look, Brown´s favourite. Formulated – following the strictest clean beauty standards – for all ages, skin types and skin tones, and full of “amazing, good for you ingredients”, the line blends purity and performance with smart, versatile, easy-to-use beauty essentials. The Miracle Balm, the hero product, a tinted, shimmery concoction made with jojoba oil, argan oil and vitamin E, perfects and enhances every complexion; the Cool Gloss, a lightweight plumping tinted lip gloss with shea butter and peppermint oil can be used on cheeks as well; the Mascara, a conditioning and volumising black mascara with vitamin B and E, curves and separates the lashes. A Start-Up-Kit containing 2 crease-proof eyeshadows (Sparkle Wash and Just a Sec), a clear gloss and a black eye pencil has been dubbed a “desert island set”: more lip glosses, eyeshadows and stick foundations are coming soon.
