Dr. Barbara Sturm´s New Flagship Boutique, Düsseldorf
Bella Hadid claims she has saved her skin. Hailey Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Irina Shayk, Karolina Kurkova Emma Stone and Gwyneth Paltrow swear by her result-driven Molecular Cosmetics, packed with the hero ingredient Purslane and sold on net-a-porter. Dr. Barbara Sturm, a glamorous German scientist-cum-aesthetic doctor constantly jet-setting between Los Angeles, New York, London and her native Germany, is the woman behind the radiant complexion of many A-listers worldwide. Now, after the star-studded inauguration of her first ever independent boutique, in Manhattan in May, the doctor, creator among other pioneering techniques of the famous Vampire Facial, has unveiled last July her first Flagship Boutique & Spa in Europe, in her hometown of Düsseldorf, Germany. The interactive 250 square meter space allows guests to discover the full range of her skincare based on her anti-inflammatory philosophy of strengthening the skin from inside; receive personalised recommendations; and test first-hand best-sellers of her line such as the Hyaluronic Serum, the Super Anti-Aging Serum and the Glow Drops. Two elegant treatment rooms provide the chance to experience the doctor´s renowned rejuvenating facials, such as the Signature Glow Facial (45 minutes, 95 euro) that never fails to impart the so called “Sturm Glow”, a radiance that seems to stem from within. Düsseldorf is also home to Dr. Sturm´s original Clinic (she now has a second one in Munich), the refuge of stars such as Victoria Beckham, that recently visited with her daughter Harper. Here the doctor & her team perform non-invasive beautifying procedures aimed to enhance a natural appearance: non-surgical “liquid” face-lifts, thread lifting, and mesotherapy. Worth a trip to Germany
