LE SPA AT THE FOUR SEASONS GEORGE V, PARIS
Parisian chic is known around the world: that certain effortless “je ne sais quoi” is envied all over the globe. The new sumptuous Le Spa of the Four Seasons George V in Paris – an icon of hospitality nestled in the French capital´s shopping Golden Triangle – possesses it in spades. Designed by Parisian interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon with a seamless mix of Neo-classical elements from the Greek and Roman tradition, and adorned by the sublime flower compositions by flower designer Jeff Leatham, the new wellness centre is a temple of French elegance where to indulge in bespoke “haute couture” treatments. Facilities include a glittering 17-metre mosaic-lined swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness centre accessorised with interactive mega-screen, 2 marble hammams, and a chic “coiffeur” where to discover the latest Parisian styles. As well as elegant Spa suites where to beautify with facials by the anti-aging cellular cosmetic brand Swiss Perfection, such as the Cellular Antioxidant Facial, which, using high doses of pure Vitamin C, reveals a brighter younger you (60 min. € 770). But what makes the centre truly unique are the exclusive signature treatments created by international Spa experts. The George V Escape for instance, is an anti-oxidant ritual created by Swiss doctor Pauline Burgener, where a Chardonnay body scrub is followed by a massage with champagne oil and a facial using gold powder, Chardonnay and green caviar (100-130 min, € 359-590). Pure indulgence. Formulated by French doctor Sylvie Peres, Breath of Life by Alaena is an organic body & face journey inspired by the Tui Na therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine: that through specific massage on pressure points and with the aid of patented products packed with amino acids, releases tensions and stimulates the skin, for an overall renewing effect (80-120 min, € 290-390). While the Kobido facelift, a traditional face massage of regenerating properties performed by therapist trained by Tokyo-based doctor Shogo Mochizuki, brings a dose of Japanese ancient wisdom in this new abode of French savoir-faire (50 min, € 585).
